Hi Jeff,

Glad to hear you made some progress at long last.........seems to be in =
the right direction, too, by the sounds of it. Try =
http://www.dot.gov.au/programs/basi/basihome.htm for BASI. I think =
you'll find that BASI-INDICATE is not available for download, but it is =
available "free of charge to all aviation companies", in accordance with =
para 1.2 in the Implementation Guide which accompanies the program. =
You'll have to contact BASI direct and ask them if they will send you a =
copy. Another excellent safety resource is Flight Safety Foundation's =
"Aviation Safety: Airline Management Self-Audit" (ICARUS Committee).

Do any CRMers have information on other safety programs which are made =
available from other Air Safety organizations, such as BASI? I'm =
particularly interested in trying to get hold of the BOEING Safety =
Program as well as the NAV CANADA safety management program. Any help or =
details on how to get these would be very much appreciated.

Regards to all, Phil R.

Hello to all,
=20
I apologize for the delay in following up with the group, about my =
August inquiry into our FSDO's belief that our firm requires =
certification under Part 142. Intially, the inspector with whom I spoke =
interpreted 121.402 (a) to require providers of resource management =
training under 121.404, to be certified as a training facility under =
Part 142. The inspector now feels that this interpretation was =
incorrect, and is still seeking a definitive interpretation. I'll share =
whatever else I learn on the subject. =20
=20
With respect to another matter, does anyone know if the BASI =
INDICATE Implementation Guidance is available for download on the =
internet? I've had trouble accessing the BASI site.
=20
Thanks,
=20
