At Canadian Regional (CRAL) our classes comprise of pilots, flight attendants,
maintenance, OCC and administration. Our philosophy is that it takes alot
more than just a couple of pilots to complete an operation. We cover
conflict/resolution, team work, decision making, interpersonal skills etc. We
have found that its very successful and in my humble opinion it is a way of
shedding some light into some of the darker cultures and subcultures in our
company. At the very least the class gets to hear other perspectives which I
think is very important because when you work for a large company there is a
tendancy to become very compartmentalized and isolated which has obvious
negative ramifications.
