We keep making the claim that team output is greater than the sum of the
individual contributions. How? What are the emergent properties of the system
(the team) that add capability (information?) that isn't resident in any one
crewmember? Perhaps the team capability is just the sum of the individual
components afterall :-). Then I would agree that each member must be as good
as they can be (ooops that sounds like a team of champions again :-(
