I believe most of the airlines today use the PF ( Pilot flying) , PNF (
Pilot not Flying) philosofy.That is
whoever is flying the aircraft ( PIC or F/O ) orders the appropiate
Checklist to be read, and the other pilot
performs the procedure.Personally, I like it better when the F/O flies the
aircraft and I get to read the
checklist, cause I feel that gives me more freedom to step back and "Get
the all picture".Here in Spanair
thats the way we train our crews.
