*** Pilot in-flight performance -- No Mile High Points on Viagra

Airline pilots have been advised to avoid taking Viagra at least
six hours before strapping into their big Boeings. A flight
medicine expert said the potency drug for males can interfere with
certain in-flight performance. The Commander of flight medicine at
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, made the warning in the latest
issue of the FAA Air Surgeon's Medical Bulletin. He warns of reported
early morning disturbances, and noted that taking Viagra could be quite
"distracting" at times due to the four-hour half-life of the drug.
For these reasons, "six hours from Viagra to throttle' is recommended."
Mile High Points are NOT awarded for solo simulator flights on the
ground, certain restrictions apply.
