To all,
Vince has a good point the "Can do attitude". For myself I call it
"careerism" when the individual career is more important than doing the
mission. More important that safety or reasonable operations. The careerism
is a hidden agenda that line pilots identify over time and learn to work
around. Careerism is an out growth of what the real corporate objectives
are, perceived objectives. What the c orporate folks say and what they want
may be far apart. I see many mishaps that careerism was a big player (
CT-43 Crotia) is just one. Whatever it is, "Can Do" or "careerism" it is a
player with a hidden hand and usually held by a joker.
