====I can only think back to all the times that I nearly bought
it...including one in the T-37 where I stretched the gas to go through a
thunderstorm and land at a base where someone was supposed to be waiting for
me...but wasn't! Landed with 50# remaining. Definitely not smart... but I
got there!! Rushed approaches have been a problem for a lot of pilots and I
am not sure if they were military or not.
