I mentioned a few weeks ago in tis forum that ICAO has a super video on
this topic which includes a recreation of the BA incident, comments from
the captain, a detailed description of the hazards (radar invisible, effect
on combustion injectors, abrasive effects on fan...) and a description of
the steps Alaskan took to work around a similar problem up North. And it's
cheap! You can ask Dan Maurino if they still stock it or see if it's on
the ICAO web site.
