I disagree a bit with Gerry over the value of humor. I have often found
humor to be the remedy for boredom from those "touchy feely" courses that
crews are "made" to take as part of their annual training. It takes an
exceptional instructor/facilitator to use humor wisely, not wasting valuable
learning time. There's a subtle difference between entertaining and
facilitating learning.
