Someone recently suggested that when we post our messages to the list that we
include our qualifications.
I have mixed feelings about that.
Signing our messages as CAPTAIN, DOCTOR, VICE PRESIDENT OF ..., etc. provides a
way to evaluate the ideas and suggestions posted here. I really believe,
however, that the best means for accomplishing that is through discussion,
sharing, challenge, and debate in an open and professional forum.
On the other hand, some sort of a short biography might be of value. When we
get our web site on line, we could make space available on a voluntary basis for
list members to post a short summary of their experience and qualifications.
This would facilitate reaching our to others on the list who have experience or
knowledge in areas of interest to us.
