Neil has just listed my book as the November feature.
http://www.caar.db.erau.edu/crm/
The book contains a detailed analysis of performance-breakdown-under-
stress and the associated 'cognitive-collapse' threshold. It is
written by a pilot, for pilots. The book also describes exercises
through which pilots (anyone) can enhance their cognitive performance
under stress (eg extremes of anxiety). (It is zero-cost training.)
Because of the fundamental importance of this stuff to the aviation
community, I have also written guidelines for culture-specific
training exercises based on the book. Please let me know if you would
like a look at them. (They should only be used by competent trainers.)
Cheers
Doug
