I heartily endorse John Bent's comments about CRm and senior pilots. After
researching participative/action methodology, I began the project of
incorporating CRM into our initial pilot training in collegiate aviation. It
has not been easy, and I can testify truly that it would not even have begun
to happen but for the personal support of a senior airline captain who has
helped me to work on my instructor staff, and who no doubt was practicing CRM
long before some of us became more aware.
