Even as we speak I am running my stats (in SPSS) on this years CRM
training at Kitty Hawk AirCargo. We have 120+ pilots, three types of a/c
and I do the CRM. Although at my level we are still trying to make up our
mind on the validity and worth of CRM, my objective is to see if there is
any correlation between their attitude toward CRM and their age,
position, gender, etc. I hope to have this for a couple of papers and a
report to my company by the end of the year.
Was really impressed with Helmreich's paper from the web on the evolution
of CRM; indeed, his comment on the fifth generation and error management
is a great leap forward.
Have a good one, I have to go fly.
