It is now time to start making plans for your presentations at the 10th
International Symposium on Aviation Psychology. Below please find a call for
papers, workshops, posters, and exhibits. I hope you all can come. You are
welcome to put the call for papers notice on your own web pages if the
audience is appropriate in your judgment.
As you may know, Lori Rakovan is no longer with us. In her place, I am happy
to have Neysa Huber doing some of the duties. Please bear with us in the
transition. I plan to handle the program and paper selection task myself
with assistance from the Editorial Board of IJAP. Please address your
abstracts to me. If you would like to help with the review task, please let
me know. This time we will do most of the communication via internet.
The CRM developers group is welcome to do a meeting again at the Symposium.

Call for papers:
10th International Symposium on Aviation Psychology
This is the first call for paper, poster, workshop and exhibit proposals for
the 10th AvPsych Symposium to be held May 2-7, 1999 in Columbus, Ohio
sponsored by the OSU Aviation Program, the Association of Aviation
Psychologists and The International Journal of Aviation Psychology.
Proposals will be considered in all areas of aviation psychology but special
emphasis will be placed on design issues in crew stations, ATC stations, and
airspace systems. Please send one-page abstracts via email to Richard Jensen
