Re: John Wayne movie

I know of several people who have tried to get their hands on a copy of
"The High and the Mighty." (Including myself) Unfortunately, as I
understand it, the Wayne family/foundation holds the exclusive rights to
this movie, and I don't believe it is even out in the video stores. We
(NWA) used to have about 20 minutes of footage from the film, including the
famous face-slapping scene, but it was a copy of a copy of a copy, so the
quality was very poor. Sort of like everyone's copy of "Bill-Bill"...

It has been at least 7 months since I gave up my pursuit of the video, so
things might have changed. I would be curious to see if the movie has been
released.
