I don't remember that one; however, in the movie version of the "High
and the Mighty" John Wayne was the (very experienced, ex-captain)
copilot who had a problem with his captain (Robert Stack) in an
emergency situation. As I remember, he had to slap the captain in the
face to "get his attention." Probably not one of the better
attention-getting techniques.

If you find a source for a tape of "The High and the Mighty" or the WWII
film, I'd sure like to hear about it.
