Oscar,
Read the novel Catch-22, by Heller. written I think, back in the early
70's. A Catch-22 basically is you can't be selected to do something unless
you have already done it. i.e. it is impossible to be selected. There are
numerous scenarios in Catch-22 like this. One Major would only let his
secretary allow people to come into his office for a visit if he wasn't in.
He would have her tell a visitor he was not in if he really was in. Another
was the number of combat missions you had to fly was always increased
whenever you reached the number required. Do you get the idea. By the way,
it's a great book, and still relevant--perhaps more-so-- today. Highly
recommended. If you don't want to plough through the book, it was made into
a movie staring Alan Arkin and probably available in video form.

Subject: Catch-22 situation

Good day to all CRMrs

Could anyone please explain me what is a "catch-22 situation" or what must
be understood for that?

Many thanks in advance.
