If there are those who believe CRM to be "Brainwashing", their objectives
would be better served by couching their words in more diplomatic language.
Surely CRM is the ability to encourage all available inputs, filter them,
prioritise and act accordingly. I don't see how this can be brainwashing.
It is in essence the commander of an operation trying to arrive at the best
solution with the available data at his/her command. In the past leaders
have been driven to try and address a problem without seeking "help". CRM
is a process to try and demonstrate and influence leaders into seeing that
there are options available that they may NOT have realised exist. If the
leader does not buy the concept, his/her operation will change little.
This can hardly be brainwashing.

| Paul,
|
| You may well be right, but what kind of bunch are we if we can't be
| honnest. I do not have to please someone by telling a lie about basic
| facts. In the military you are brainwashed, period. Since the military
| have a CRM program, the definition will be erroneous if we do not talk
| about brainwashing. If you really have a problem with this otherwise
| correct term then give me one. Keep in mind the Dr. Morphew wants a
| concise definition.
|
| Thanks
