Dear Joe,

Thanks for posting the information on your joint research with Dr. Pettit
on leadership. This exchange of resource information is one of the primary
benefits of this Industry Developer's forum. The response to Dr. Key
Dismuke's posting for LOFT Debrief resources is another excellent example.
If the report is already on the web can we have the URL so we can make a
link to it? If it is not on the web, can we have permission to put it in
the resource section of our web site?

One of the lesser explored capabilities of this forum is linking
researchers with industry developers to jointly develop curricula or other
products. Since many of the folks on this site deliver curricula to line
pilots every day, they have an excellent understanding of the content,
structure, methods, and devices required to enjoy a successful transfer of
learning. I would encourage all the researchers who are interested in the
development side of the R&D to use the tremendous expertise inherent in
this group to shape their development efforts. I would venture a guess
that there would be a dozen or more folks who would be interested in
working with you and Susan to shape a powerful and focused leadership
curricula that could be easily integrated into an airline/flying
organization's existing curricula.

Best Regards,

Vince Mancuso, Ph.D.
