Someone should be able to research the NASA aviation reporting system for
CRM saves. The result probably should not be directly stated in a dollar
amount since CRM would be hard to justify as the single factor that led to
a save. Rating a save could be problematic since you are dealing with the
subjective statement of a crew and not something as well defined as a GPWS
warning. If that doesn't produce evidence of CRM effectiveness then we
need to create a new system to gather data on incidents in which CRM was a
factor.
Another approach would be to look at the reams of data now available from
AQP training. I'll bet there is a correlation between performance and CRM
skills.
