Dear Captain Surendra Ratwatte,
Your email message was forwarded to me last week. Our company is AirBC
and we are the Western Canada regional carrier (owned by Air Canada but
operated separately). We have an award-winning Critical Incident Stress
Management team and regularly put on training for other aviation groups
(pilots, flight attendants, ground support, maintenance, administration,
management, etc.) on the topic of peer support and critical incident
stress/post traumatic stress. We are certified trainers in both Basic
CISM and Peer Support - the training is specifically designed for
aviation. THE NEXT TRAINING SESSION IS IN VANCOUVER, CANADA MAY 4-8,
1998 and it will be both courses, taught one after the other.
Our program is endorsed by the International Critical Incident Stress
Foundation and both courses are taught in full compliance with ICISF
standard. We have trained Continental Airlines, Federal Express, UPS,
Airborne Express and many other friends in the industry. Our program
has been in place for almost ten years.
If you are interested in finding more information, please contact me by
return email or fax (604) 244-2750 anytime. I will send a brochure to
your address in Dubai in the meantime. I hope to hear from you.
Thank you.
