The designers are doing a grand job creating safer aircraft
that can fly people safer and cheaper from A to B.

Unfortunately one man's essential is another man's option. This where the
judgement of your aircraft evaluation team comes into play. The next
problem is to sell the optional extras/essentials to the board?

NOW the bottom line

It is now up to us, as trainers, to prepare the "average" pilot converting
to the new technology with the means of appreciating EXACTLY the
philosophies behind the new technology and FULLY prepare them to operate it
to the best advantage in a safer environment.

Fly by wire, cables and pulleys A310 v 767, there's an airship out there
using fibre optics. The old and the new?
