The term "Approval" or "Approved" is used throughout CFR 49 to designate
a procedure or program that is acceptable to the FAA. This means that
the method of acceptance is specified by the FAA. The other method of
of complying is "Acceptance." Clarification can be found in FAA Order
8400.10.
