James,
GREAT TOPIC !!! Both yours and Greet's comments are of great interest
to me. I like many others would like to follow this exchange very closely.
I see alot of low hanging fruit for my naval air comands.
The US Naval service has spent an enormious effort in reducing our
mishap rate over the last couple of years. First, with a stand-up of an on
going Human Factors Quility Management Board(HFQMB), then moving
next into a close culture assessement our commands. Much discussion
time has been spent in finding a clear way to bring CRM/ACT to our
aircrews in an operational format. This may be the pearl I've been looking
for.
Looking forward to reading more.

Geert,
Without a doubt, Dr. Bob Helmreich's Performance Markers are the best
place
to start your search for crew behavior markers. Several years ago, I felt
there was a need to put his markers in a slightly more operationally
oriented checklist format (somewhat presumptous of me I'm sure). I am
sure many others of this group have done the same thing. If you will
contact me at my personal e-mail address (ronbrock_at_compuserve.com)I
will be
happy to share them with you.
Cheers
