Back in the early 1980s FAA did a comprehensive task analysis to support
certification regulatory development. I seem to recall that it was based
on the 727. Because of the timing and aircraft, automation would not have
been a concern but it could be a valuable baseline. Perhaps someone else
here in the group knows more about this study.
Also, any airline involved in development of an AQP training program will
have a high quality task analysis for each flight crew position. Many of
these programs are for current generation aircraft.
