Welcome to the group. What an exciting task you have with so many
nationalities in the cabin crews. Actually you may have an advantage in that
there is no dominant "culture" but rather the airline is the solidifying
factor. That common thread: Emirates employee could be rather useful to
build cabin crews as teams. There has been much discussion as to what is CRM
and the limits of CRM principles. For me CRm is an effort to teach less
effective people what more effective crew members do in daily operations. It
is NOT psychobabble nor is it theoretical. It is teaching those human
interactional skills necessary to enhance teamwork and mission effectiveness.
The resources are immense and challenging. The programs we provide are time
condensed, high quality and cost effective. We train to a set of performance
skills that are identified and understandable. So called "hard points". Crew
members respond well to defined and clear objectives and that is what we
provide.
