Although others may advocate that we move on, I agree with you. There's a
saying that goes something like "if you're not sure where you are going,
there are a lot of roads that will get you there." After reading the
definitions to date, plus the inadequate definition provided by AC 120-51B,
it seems that we in the industry are on many different roads. If we are
moving on, then to where?

We really shouldn't have to reach agreement (but perhaps we need to). This
is a working group organized (I believe) to implement a policy and programs
that are already specified in the FARs -- yet it seems that a clear
definition of purpose is missing. Discussion will be useful, but common
understanding is also desirable. As Vince Mancuso stated: "we can hardly
expect the thousands of crew members who receive CRM training to define it."
