This is my addition and of course synergy is a must.

Human Factors:

The systematic integration of all interfaces between liveware, hardware
and software and their interdependences in carrying out one or more
activities (through procedures, environmental settings, etc.) within a
"system safety" framework in order to improve understanding of
relationships that can influence the safe state of a system or the safe
outcome of an operation.
