Hi Martin,

I've done research for the UK Defence Research Agency on this topic. There
are a vast number of relevant resources, but two large concentrations are
(a) the ATA/FAA AQP program and (b) the USN's ACT program. For the first,
contact Dr. Tom Longridge at FAA, or any of the participating airlines on
this forum. For the second, I'd suggest Dr. Carolyn Prince
(105015,223_at_compuserve.com) or Dr. Ed Salas at NAWCTSD.

In Europe, the UK CAA is working with the Royal Aeronautical Society to
define instructor standards (competencies, including the evaluation of
student LOFT) as part of an instructor/facilitator course - a copy of the
W.I.P. presented recently in Amsterdam is on the RAeS HFG web site
(www.raes.org.uk/human_factors/menu.htm) and they are holding a conference
on the evaluation of communication and coordination skill performances at
Gatwick on September 23rd (at which the keynote speaker is Dr. Barbara
Kanki - more info shortly on this one).
