Chris,
I suggest that the critical situation you have is not with this particular
Rouge"alledged" or not, but rather with the entire pilot force to "see" how
management handles someone whom they know is lacking in "whatever". If this
individual continues in command, the organization is sending the message that
his behavior is acceptable. That is critical to establishing a culture in
which CRM is SOP. I still like my suggestion of flying this pilot as a FO
until he changes for real..or retirement. At least then you'll get some use
out of him and he will be productive. And the organization will have set a
line in the sand of what's acceptable PIC behavior.
