Request for ideas

I want to solicit your help in an exercise in which i am
participating. I need your ideas of industry needs for research in
training. Note that the word research constrains the question
considerably. There are many things you know how to do to improve training
if you just had the funds, time, and management approval. But here i am
asking about those problems that you would not know how to fix even if you
had funds, time, and management approval; those are the issues that require
research. This is not an idle exercise, and your suggestions may influence
what research is conducted on training over the next several years.
