Hey Ashleigh, I thought you had gone to Pango Pango or somewhere and that we
had lost your wit and wisdom; good to see you back on line. I agree with your
"Great idea, Key!" I would say ideas.

1. We are using the in-depth case study now as a finale to our basic course
and in our refresher courses. Not only do the good things that Key mentions
occur, but the changing of the case studies allows a the crews a change of
scenery. We do not hear the "Gee, we've seen all this before" comments very
often.

2.We are going to start work on the #3 idea ASAP. What a great way to develop
aircrew buy in to the evaluation process.

3. The Idea of focusing on one theme for a year does forestall the "Gee,
we've seen all this before", syndrome, but it can be pretty limiting. Let's
say the subject for the year is decision making, do we ignore situational
awareness? It is a puzzlement. Since I do not have experience with this type
system, I'd like to hear how it works.

Again, Welcome back Ashliegh, and thanks Key for the idea(s).
