Good morning to all-

Thanks again to all the developers for sharing outstanding discussion
with us all. I very much enjoy learning, especially from you, the
leaders in our group. Your efforts have helped me help others. Win,
win!!

To add to the thoughts, work, observations & suggestions of Key,
Ashleigh, Vince and Neal re: line pilots rating a videoed LOFT, I'd like
to add my personal opinion. This would indeed be a very valuable
learning tool, however, pilots being pilots, in order for the video to
be effective, I'd like to suggest the following:

1) While this is not a quick, easy, inexpensive task, an MD-11 Captain
does not want to see a "generic video" perhaps of a B-737 crew. The
video must be "type" specific.

2) Line pilots seem to like to bad-mouth management pilots flying a
desk; especially if a management pilot has no line experience to speak
of. Use line pilots than do superior work.

3) Many of the videos I've seen look like a B movie with unrealistic
scenarios, out-dated procedures, extremely poor acting, and so on.
Create relevant, very real scenarios which include a well defined set of
behaviors, use current procedures (company policy) and make the viewers
believe they are watching a line crew in action.

Thanks again to all of you for helping me to better my instructing
skills!!

Regards-

Lonny
