I really like your idea of examining the exempliary performance of a crew
in the same manner and detail with which we scrutinize accident reports. I
wonder if some airline would be willing to transcribe the CVR of a flight
in which a crew demonstrated strong crm skills in pulling out of a bad
situation not of their own making? It this country fear of litigation
might inhibit doing that. But it should be possible to treat a LOFT the
same way and it should be possible to get some crew to consent for their
LOFT video to be used this way if it were properly arranged with the union.\
