The discussions recently have trended toward a goal of defining every
aspect of airmanship in one science or anot;her. The general assumption
seems to be that every detail can be disected and then easily trained and
evaluated. I think this work is useful but at the same time I think we are
a long way from complete descriptions of every thing under t;he general
banner of airmanship. Basically I believe there is still an Art as well as
a Science to airmanship. The art is the vision necessary to fill in the
gaps in science. Art deals with the less well understood. We are still
responsible for how we practice our art, even though it is less defined.
Any Thoughts? Gerry
