Joktan,

This is sometimes a difficult task to undertake if it's the first class.
I have done many aircraft certifications and in the ground school portion of
training I incorporated CRM (Crew ) and then also again in the simulator.
We would put cockpit crew members together with flight attendants and give
them a scenario with a flight attendant as the team leader and responsible
for making the final decision on the out come.
In the sim. we would put a flight attendant in the cockpit (we did this on
727's and DC 10's) and give the cock pit team an emergency scenario. The
flight attendant was an acting cockpit crew member, with check list to
follow.
We also put cockpit crew members in the cabin and simulated an emergency
situation, the cockpit members were acting flight attendants. It was
required that a complete emergency announcement and demo be performed along
with all the other communication and interaction the flight attendants have
with each other and with the passengers.
Sometimes, we as flight attendants do not realize what preparation has to be
done in the cockpit for certain situations and vice-versa. It can be a real
eye-opener for every one.

Dear Otto,

Thanks for your sincere response. Actually I am a new cabin safety
instructor. In my airline, CRM has not been implemented in the cabin crew
training program but I know CRM is very important to
minimize the human factor/problem and enhance communication in the
workplace. I did found plenty of info. and CRM manual on the web site
"www.caar.db.erau.edu" but I couldn't find those info.
especially designed for cabin crew.

Is there any cabin crew CRM training manual on line?
For a new airline, how should the first CRM (cabin crew) training be
organized?
What is the difference between cockpit resource management and cabin
resource management?
How should the C (cockpit)RM be incorporated with C (cabin)RM?
Where can I take some CRM training?

Once again, I am very new in this area. I only know little of things about
CRM. Thanks for your assistance and kind response.
