Hi all,
Attached is a programme announcement for the February 5th Ramp Safety
conference organised by the UK Royal Aeronautical Society HF Committee
at CAA Gatwick.
Ramp culture is probably one of the most difficult to introduce CRM/TRM
into, due to the thin profit margins, poor cost-visibility. high staff
turnover, difficulty in enforcing standards for safety training etc.
etc. But as CRM developers know, any environment characterised by
multiple, losely coupled, opaque process interfaces must be a disaster
waiting to happen. A number of operators are introducing CRM/TRM for
ramp personnel and this conference discusses the current status for the
area.
