When Capt. Madeline (Mimi) Tompkins and the ALPA CIRP group were in the
process of evaluating training resources for their program, they selected
the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. As far as I know,
ALPAs program continues to use the Foundation's services.
The ICISF provides a full range of information and training on CIS and
PTSD, and has been a long-time advocate of the peer-support concept in
dealing with both victims and emergency response workers.
