USAir.. ways.. uses the monitored approaches for Cat II and IIIa/b but the
Capt is flying. The F/O makes the calls and the Capt then decides to land or
miss. Saying nothing at mins, the F/O will commence the miss.

This avoids a change of controls at the end of the approach and seems to
work quite well. Last week, in a 4 day trip, we did 5 Cat IIIa... all
autolands and all were right at min RVR.
