I must have missed the first part of this thread and at first thought I
should not respond; I am so troubled by what you wrote however, I felt my
respone in necessary!

Since we are not addressing flight crew member incapacitation, let me
share with you standard callouts used in MD-11 operations at Delta. For
CAT I & II approaches, the PNF (pilot not flying) calls out "MINIMUMS" &
at or before DA (H), the CAPT calls "APPROACH LIGHTS IN SIGHT" or "RUNWAY
IN SIGHT" or "MISSED APPROACH" and the F/O MUST ACKNOWLEDGE!!!!!
On a CAT III approach, at AH, the CAPT calls "DUAL LAND" or "MISSED
APPROACH". For non-precision approaches, if the PNF has the runway in
sight, he/she calls "RUNWAY IN SIGHT" and the CAPT calls "APPROACH LIGHTS
IN SIGHT" or "RUNWAY IN SIGHT" or "MISSED APPROACH".
You state above the CAPT is flying an instrument approach to minimums.
The First Officer will NEVER initiate a go-around, NEVER, EVER!!!!! Any
significant deviation from planned flight path, airspeed or descent rate
as defined in our manual and we use standard callouts by the PNF. The
CAPT however will be the pilot to initiate the go-around if a go-around
will be initiated, PERIOD!!

I hope we are not fighting for control of the aircraft, and at 100'??

WOW, I am sure each carrier addresses all these concerns with standard
callouts and company policy addressing any and all concerns here!!

<CRINGE> The F/O commands the CAPT????????????

This had better NOT happen at most, I hope ALL carriers!!!

WOW, <SILENCE>, NO COMMENT!!
