There is an interesting discussion developing between Dave Wilson and Skip
Mudge concerning CRM training. Skip advocates training effective team
interaction across all levels of training, to that what some would call "good
CRM" is a very normal habit and routine. He further seems to imply that if
this training is effective, there will be no need for "toolkits" of CRM
behavior. Toward that objective, I agree.
Dave Wilson advocates that interactive training alone is insuffficient,
and the aviators need to be equiped with the ability to respond outside of
the norm when the norm isn't working. I agree.
