Dear CRMers,
Since I don't have the final NTSB Cali report, I would like to address two
technical questions for those of your who are ATP pilots, and one to whoever
can answer it.

1. Why the 757 at 2137:43 starts a left turn with 16-18 deg. bank to 100 deg?

2. Why the speedbrakes remain extended when the pilot select full power ?
(isn't it like to put the hot iron into the fridg ? Is a design error ?

3. For those who knew Cap. Tafuri, I would like to know about his
professional antecedents, Was he a good "stick and rudder" pilot ? Did he
adapt adequately to the new FMS technology ? Was he stressed or going throu
a difficult life situation in those days.

Thanks a lot.

KEEP SMILING, yours, Hugo
