In 1992, Nadine Sarter and David Woods published two papers on Flight
Crew-FMS interface experiences. The first was entitled "Pilot Interaction
with Cockpit Automation: Operational Experiences with the Flight Management
System" and the second was "Pilot Interaction with Cockpit Automation II: An
Experimental Study of Pilots' Model and Awareness of the Flight Management
System."

Two questions:

1. Is anyone aware of other more recent papers or studies published on this
subject? If so, what are the titles and sources?

2. Does anyone happen to know Nadine's e-mail address?
