In the development of the courseware for the instructors and evaluators of
USAF T-37, T-38, and T-1 aircraft we are considering producing our own
video presentations for use in the classroom portion. These videos will
address several realistic situations in each aircraft. Each video will be
goal oriented in a skills development approach and with Vince Mancuso's
good advice will cross over to situations the pilots will be exposed to in
the simulator. I am curious about pitfalls in the production of the
videos, i.e. ineffective camera angles, necessity of viewing majority of
body language, extent of subscripts, effective length of scenario, voice
inflections, effective scenarios best recorded on video, etc. If anyone
has any input it will be greatly appreciated. We will start filming in a
few weeks and I will let you know the multitude of lessons I will surely
learn. Thanks, Andy Newman
