DESIGN OF SIMULATION INSTRUCTOR STATIONS

Hi,

There has been quite a lot of research on the topic of IOSs, although I
imagine it depends on how formal your definition of "Research" is. Some
of it - perhaps most - falls into the category of technical R&D on
facilities and usability, e.g. comparative studies of touchscreens and
their limitations (parallax, reflection, z-dimension consistency). Some
of it is R&D, for example the organisation of page functionality, such
as condition arming, and the implementation philosophy of lesson plans
or remote debriefing integration. For pure research the best UK centre
for sim IOSs would probably be DRA Bedford. Perhaps you could be more
specific about what you need?
