The paper by Meyer is from Flying Safety, September 1984. l don;t know
if it can still be found but l would be happy to send you a copy if you
send me your snail mail address.
I believe it is fundamental for the effectiveness of a flight instructor
to have a good basic understanding of human performance limitations,
adult learning and effective approaches to maximising learning (ground
or air). I agree that effective training equates to operational
competency. Excuse my ignorance but what is defacto crew formation?
I work with the University of South Australia, Bachelor of Applied
Science Civil Aviation.
