Tim Writes,

>Wondering if any of you are familiar with the acronym called PACE. It's
used by the PNF to address a situation where the PF is not responding to
calls, or maybe doing something not in accordance to SOP. The basis of
PACE is to escalate the situation so that a resolution can be found ASAP.

"PACE" - Probing, Alerting, Challenging and Emergency Warning;

If you look on the discussion archive of our web site at:

http://www.caar.db.erau.edu/lists/crm-devel/Jan_98/0062.html

You will find a little more detail on Dr. Bob Besco's PACE method. There
were also a couple articles on PACE that were printed a couple years ago in
Business and Commercial Aviation Magazine.
