Hello Jens....
the Alaska Airlines accident happened in 1976 in Ketchikan, Alaska. It is
correct that the aircraft crashed after touching down near the far end
of the runway. Accident Report (NTSB, 1976b. At American Eagle we discussed
this accident in our 1997 CRM Recurrent, and it proved to be very effective.
