I saw a dramatization of this accident about 2 years ago. It was part of
a lengthy TV program that was shown over Public Broadcast stations on
aviation safety issues.
I don't recall whether the name of the carrier and location of the crash
were mentioned in the program. The aircraft type was identified as a
B-727. I had the impression that the accident might have been in Florida,
but can't be certain of that.
I first saw a clip of that video when it was shown by Dr. Bob Helmreich.
Don't know if it was his or just a borrowed tape. Knowing how closely Dr.
Bob examines videos for their accuracy, along with his recall of
crew performance during accidents, he might remember the event and
be able to give you the information you need.
