My personal opinion, and I think it is shared by many others, is that
the CRM facilitator must have enough experience in his/her field to be
credible. He/she must be well regarded and respected as a professional
by his/her peers. The facilitator must be a good communicator and be a
real believer in the subject. A willingness to learn more about the
subject on one's own is necessary as time passes and the field changes.
Each operator tends to have their own training requirements, but
typically they involve participating in a workshop, observing some
workshops, classroom training in the subject and finally supervised
facilitation.
As I say, the requirements may vary, but I think these are fairly
typical.
